PRESENTATION: “When Colonial Pipeline met Darkside – A Ransomware Story” – In this session, we will review and speculate on some of the recent Ransomware attacks in the news, and discuss what NIST-based security controls might have helped to prevent them. We’ll review some specific NIST controls, and explain how to interpret them for real-world scenarios. This will be best suited for those who are beginning their journey to understand the scope and purpose of the common security catalogs.” Given by our own Chad Stewart.
