Nathan Sweaney
Nathan Sweaney has served the IT and cybersecurity industries for over 25 years. As a consultant he has worked with thousands of customers from small businesses to Fortune 10. He has also served as a vCISO, CTO, and CSO. He’s a passionate advocate for the Oklahoma cybersecurity community and participates in many area organizations. He currently works in the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute at the University of Tulsa, a research branch focused on solving tough challenges. He excels at translating technical nuance into business-speak and finding practical, operationally feasible approaches for organizations to mitigate risk. Nathan also serves on several boards and advisory groups.

Shane Skidgel
Shane Skidgel has over 20 years of leadership in technology, cybersecurity, and IT strategy. With a background in executive roles across both corporate and entrepreneurial settings, he has guided organizations through digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and secure infrastructure development. Shane’s expertise spans software architecture, risk management, and emerging technologies, and he is passionate about helping businesses innovate responsibly. His experience as a founder, advisor, and community volunteer reflects a commitment to both technical excellence and meaningful impact. Shane is also a member of the ISSA International Cyber Executive Forum Advisory Board.

Julio Tirado
Julio is the Executive Vice President and Director of Internal Audit at SpiritBank, a community bank headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With over 18 years of experience in internal audit, cybersecurity, and risk management in the banking sector, he specializes in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) governance, advocating for the secure, ethical, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies in regulated industries.
Julio is an active leader in the professional community, spearheading AI Roundtable initiatives for various organizations and serving on the Board of BSides Oklahoma, a cybersecurity conference dedicated to hands-on training and practical knowledge sharing. He holds several industry-recognized certifications, including the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP), and Accredited Artificial Intelligence Auditor (AAIA).

Rob Hendricks
Rob has been an IT fanatic since the mid eighties. He has 30 years experience in technology implmenetation and support, including more than 20 years of IT leadership experience. Rob completed his Bachelors degree in Computer Science in night school after moving to Oklahoma. Rob led the Operations team for a well known media company as Sr. Director and most recently a local airline.

Tom Baty
Tom Baty has over 20 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and healthcare technology. His background includes senior roles in information security engineering, network operations, and infrastructure architecture, with a focus on building secure, stable, and practical systems in complex environments. Prior to his career in technology, Tom served nearly a decade in law enforcement, an experience that shaped his approach to accountability, decision-making, and operational discipline.
He holds a Master’s in Telecommunications Management, a Bachelor’s in Physics, and maintains CISSP and CHPS certifications. Tom brings a strong commitment to clear thinking, responsible execution, and supporting the continued growth of the cybersecurity community.

Pedro Serano
Pedro Serrano has over 35 years of experience managing and installing technical controls in networks around the world, 20 of those in military systems. Previously Pedro was a former CISO, Network Security for an integrated healthcare system as well as Security Architect for major Oil and Gas Exploration company, and Security Solutions Executive for CDW. He holds two postgraduates’ degrees one in Telecommunications Management and the other in Computer Science and serves in the Board of Directors of The Information System Security Association (ISSA)
chapter in Tulsa, and BSides Oklahoma. He also serves as an advisor to the Latino Leadership Institute and is a graduate from the Leadership Oklahoma program. Pedro holds the CISSP certification from ISC2.

Jonathan Kimmitt has more than 22 years’ experience as senior leadership in IT and IT Security. Demonstrated expertise in establishing and implementing enterprise security programs, data privacy initiatives, and cyber security investigations. Highly skilled, dedicated and enthusiastic team player with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Chad Stewart is an information security and audit professional with over 20 years of experience spanning the energy, governmental, and health sectors. He specializes in strengthening cybersecurity and risk management programs aligned with NIST, PCI, HIPAA, IRS, and TSA frameworks. Chad combines technical depth with business insight to help organizations achieve compliance, resilience, and secure operations.
